Job Description
Job Purpose: The person's primary responsibility will be ensuring monthly/quarterly reporting of Capital & Provisions under the regulatory and accounting standards of Standardized/IRB and INDAS/IFRS/CECL.
• The role will involve Projects on Automation and Implementations, Process Streamlining, SOPs designing, Liaising with Finance, Operations, IT Credit, Policy, Risk Analytics, Audit and Validation Units, Active engagement with Senior Management
• Developing and Managing team to ensure all deliverables with respect to Regulatory Reporting under IRB / IFRS/CECL implementation are met
Job Responsibilities(JR) : 6 – 8 Areas
Actionable (4-6)
Capital/Provisioning Computations
• Capital Computation under Standardized & Internal Ratings Based (IRB) Approach on a monthly and quarterly basis
• Expected Credit Loss based Provisioning for the Banks Portfolio under the accounting standards of IFRS/IndAS & CECL
• Regulatory QIS Submissions
• Implementing necessary process changes / designing standard Operating Processes /System enhancement
• Responding to validation / Internal and External audit observations on capital computations and taking corrective action
• Responding to RBI on AFI / RBS observations on capital computations and taking necessary corrective action
• Ensuring documentation / policy formulation for capital/provisioning computations
• Presentation to Sr management attributing change in capital/provisioning numbers/impact of new guidelines etc
Team/Stakeholder management
• Manage a team of analyst/Sr analyst and guide them on various aspects related to capital/provisioning computations, guidelines interpretation, system implementation etc
• Liaise actively with operations, finance and IT units for automation projects on computations and reporting
• Work with finance, audit and validation to ensure compliance to all regulatory requirements
• Taking up the findings with Senior Management and getting requisite governance documented and adhered to

Post-graduate degree (preferably in Finance or an MBA or Economics degree with a strong quantitative underpinning) from a respected institution with an outstanding academic record.
Minimum Experience of 8-10 Years in relevant field.
• Team Management & Excellent interpersonal skills
