Tax Paralegal
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paralegal to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting attorneys by conducting research, preparing legal documents, and managing case files. This position requires strong analytical skills and proficiency in various financial auditing tools and accounting software to assist with financial aspects of cases.
Duties
Conduct thorough legal research and analysis to support case preparation.
Draft, review, and organize legal documents, including contracts, pleadings, and discovery materials.
Assist attorneys in trial preparation by compiling evidence and preparing exhibits.
Manage case files and maintain accurate records of all legal documents.
Collaborate with clients to gather necessary information and documentation for cases.
Utilize financial auditing skills to analyze financial records relevant to cases.
Perform account reconciliation using accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks.
Assist in payroll processing and financial reporting as needed.
Skills
Proficiency in financial auditing practices and tools.
Experience with accounting software such as Xero, Sage, or QuickBooks.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
Knowledge of financial services and investment principles is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.

Pay: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
