Overview
We are seeking a talented and creative Tattoo Artist to join our vibrant studio. The ideal candidate will have a passion for body art, excellent customer service skills, and a strong understanding of sanitation and safety protocols. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase artistic talent while providing clients with personalized tattoo designs in a professional and welcoming environment. Prior experience in related beauty or hospitality services is a plus, but a genuine enthusiasm for tattoo artistry is essential.
Duties
Collaborate with clients to understand their tattoo ideas and provide expert design advice
Create custom tattoo artwork that meets client specifications and adheres to safety standards
Perform tattoo procedures with precision, maintaining a sterile environment at all times
Educate clients on aftercare procedures to ensure proper healing of tattoos
Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all equipment and workspaces in compliance with health regulations
Manage appointment scheduling and client consultations at the front desk
Upsell related products such as aftercare creams, body jewelry, or touch-up services
Assist with retail sales of studio merchandise and promotional items
Provide guest services by ensuring a comfortable and professional experience for every client
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Tattoo Artist or in a similar body art role; portfolio of work required
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
Knowledge of sanitation procedures, sterilization techniques, and safety standards in body art practices
Customer service-oriented mindset with the ability to build rapport and ensure client satisfaction
Ability to handle multiple appointments efficiently while maintaining attention to detail
Experience or interest in related beauty services such as body waxing, makeup application, eyelash extensions, nail care, or hair styling is advantageous but not mandatory
Previous retail sales or guest service experience is beneficial for upselling and enhancing client interactions
