Your Role
As a Windows Image Creation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, building, customizing, and deploying enterprise Windows operating system images across large-scale environments. You will work closely with infrastructure, workplace services, and endpoint management teams to ensure seamless operating system deployment and migration initiatives.
In this role, you will:
Create, customize, and maintain Windows OS images for enterprise environments.
Build and manage deployment solutions using Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT).
Design and implement Task Sequences for automated operating system deployments.
Perform WIM image customization, optimization, and servicing activities.
Utilize Sysprep, DISM, and WinPE for image preparation and deployment.
Configure and support SCCM OSD (Operating System Deployment) solutions.
Manage driver packaging, driver injection, and hardware compatibility validation.
Perform image capture, testing, deployment, and lifecycle management.
Configure and troubleshoot PXE Boot environments.
Execute OS refresh, migration, and upgrade projects across enterprise devices.
Develop and maintain advanced PowerShell scripts for deployment automation and operational efficiency.
Troubleshoot imaging, deployment, and endpoint provisioning issues.
Collaborate with infrastructure and support teams to improve deployment standards and processes.
Your Profile
4+ years of experience in Windows Image Creation and Operating System Deployment.
Strong hands-on experience with:
Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT)
SCCM OSD
Task Sequences
WIM Customization
Sysprep
DISM
WinPE
PXE Boot
Driver Injection
Image Capture & Deployment
OS Refresh/Migration
Advanced PowerShell Scripting
Experience supporting enterprise-scale Windows deployment projects.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Knowledge of endpoint management and workplace services environments.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
