SWIFT Technologist- 5+yrs- PAN India

Responsibilities
• Participate actively in requirement discussions, story refinement, and solution design activities.
• Assist in estimating development efforts and guiding stories from conception through successful delivery.
• Conduct proof-of-concept initiatives to validate new ideas and reduce implementation risks.
• Develop and unit test solutions to ensure alignment with business requirements, compliance standards, and acceptance criteria.
• Enhance and maintain integration, regression, and performance testing frameworks.
• Analyze test results and troubleshoot failures to identify root causes and implement corrective measures.
• Install, configure, patch, maintain, and support SWIFT software across multiple environments.
• Create and maintain deployment, support, operational, and technical documentation.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SWIFT connectivity, messaging, and infrastructure components.
• Collaborate closely with production support teams to ensure high availability, reliability, and stability of SWIFT services.
• Support ongoing modernization and optimization initiatives within the SWIFT technology landscape.

Requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 5-10+ years of overall experience within the technology industry.
• 3-5 years of hands-on experience installing patches, maintaining, troubleshooting, and testing SWIFT products.
• Strong understanding of the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and analytical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and within cross-functional teams to deliver business outcomes.

Required Technical Skills
• Hands-on experience with:
• SWIFT Alliance Gateway (SAG)
• SWIFT Alliance Access (SAA)
• SWIFT Web Platform (SWP)
• SWIFTNet Link (SNL)
• Strong knowledge of SWIFT messaging formats:
• MT Messages
• ISO 20022 / MX Messages
• Practical understanding of SWIFT protocols and connectivity infrastructure.
• Experience installing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting SWIFT software solutions.
• Strong troubleshooting and testing capabilities across SWIFT environments.
• Experience with integration, regression, and performance testing activities.

Domain Expertise
• Good understanding of SWIFT network services and related financial messaging ecosystems.
• Knowledge of payment processing and financial messaging workflows.
• Awareness of compliance, security, and regulatory requirements within banking and financial services environments.

Preferred Qualifications
• SWIFT certifications or formal SWIFT product training.
• Experience working in banking, financial services, or payment technology environments.
• Exposure to large-scale enterprise messaging and payment systems.
