1) Lead Procurement -DCTL : 1 Position
Job Description :
Purpose of the job : Responsible for overseeing the sourcing and acquisition of polymer materials required for the organization’s manufacturing processes. This role involves strategic planning, supplier management, and ensuring the timely delivery of polymer materials. The Manager collaborates closely with cross-functional teams, including production, research and development, and quality assurance, to optimize material sourcing and cost-effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and execute procurement strategies for polymer materials, considering factors such as cost, quality, and availability.
• Identify and evaluate potential polymer suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish long-term relationships.
• Collaborate with research and development teams to understand material specifications and requirements.
• Monitor market trends related to polymer materials and identify opportunities for cost savings.
• Manage inventory levels of polymer materials, minimizing excess and ensuring availability.
• Lead cross-functional teams to improve procurement processes and supplier performance.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
• Prepare reports on procurement activities and present findings to senior management.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Polymer Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to build and maintain supplier relationships.
• Familiarity with polymer material properties, manufacturing processes, and industry standards.
• Proficiency in procurement software and tools.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Analytical mindset and ability to make data-driven decisions.
Working as a Lead procurement responsible for all kinds Purchasing Raw material specifically for polymer manufacturing, of spares, consumables, ARC/AMC, import purchasing, capex Purchasing, making Procurement plan, report preparation as per management requirement & budget plan.
The person should have experience of procurement of Polymer chemicals, vendor development and negotiation etc.
2) Lead Logistics - DCTL OXOC : 1 Position
Job Description :
Responsible for all order fulfilling activities, and transportation of products at the facility, as well as timely reporting of completed dispatches. Handle tracking and claims. May coordinate routing and carrier selection.
Assist in developing monthly, weekly and daily dispatch plan in coordination with central planner and logistics manager.
Monitor availability of road permits for required locations before planning for vehicles and dispatch.
Plan and schedule appropriate modes of transportation based on daily needs.
Assist in developing a tentative transport plan on a weekly basis. Calculate total volume product category wise and arrive at total vehicles required.
Assist in developing transport plan along with item wise description and send it to the transporters, keeping in mind product and transporter constraints, lead time for each region taking reference of lead time matrix.
Communicate the dispatch plan to transporter before the planned dispatch.
Allocate material to each vehicle on a daily basis as per the dispatch plan. Ensure proper documentation, including transit documents and customs clearances, etc. for dispatch. Ensure documentation is accurately processed, distributed and released to carrier, forwarders, customers and agents in a timely manner.
Ensure that allocated materials are loaded on the appropriate vehicles. Coordinate daily activity to track location and movement of inventory finished goods. Provide reports to internal and external customers as required.Coordinate with remote locations demand planner for road permits and review permit utilization report.Coordiante with inbound team to ensure that planned material is available for dispatch in the warehouse.Assist in obtaining necessary transportation permits for outbound dispatches, as required to facilitate timely movements. Develop and send invoice for dispatch with material. Ensure compliance with all state, central, environmental, safety, and hazardous waste regulations. Ensure that goods are dispatched in the most timely and efficient manner according to documented processes, including planning the transportation route and payload, selecting the mode of transportation, tendering the order for transportation, and tracking the movement from pick up through delivery all the while targeting cost reduction, freight savings, service and contractual requirements.
