Role Details

Work Location – Hamilton
Shift/Hours – Monday to Friday, Day Shift On-Site (Shift flexibility required for vacation coverage)
The full base salary range for this position is from $79,200.00 - $88,000.00 annually. The starting base salary offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, role complexity, skills, experience, and internal equity.

About This Opportunity
Reporting to the Manager, Distribution Centre, the Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a team of Coke Canada drivers and warehouse employees. They ensure the products are properly received, stored, and effectively distributed to our customers. The Supervisor works as a coach and mentor to their team. To succeed in this position, the Supervisor must be capable of planning the workload, motivating their team, and offering great customer service.

Responsibilities
Supervise a team of distribution and warehouse employees, while respecting budgetary constraints
Maintain a safe work environment to enforce health and safety policies and regulations in the workplace
Staff, train, coach, evaluate and develop team members
Oversee the storage, as well as the shipping and receiving of goods
Ensure adherence to delivery standards, efficiencies and regulatory requirements
Manage drivers' delivery schedule and hours worked
Establish and maintain positive customer relationships, resolving customer issues
Serve as liaison between sales, distribution and warehouse to maintain efficient communication between functions
Manage and audit team member's timekeeping
Manage within labor and OPEX budget
Willingness to adapt shift based on vacation coverage
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree or post-secondary education in a related field, or experience deemed equivalent is required
1-3 years' experience in consumer products/direct store delivery required
1-3 years supervisory experience required
Prior experience in distribution, retail, or warehouse required. Beverage industry is preferred
Knowledge of Department of Transportation regulations
Experience with MS Office and SAP computer tools
Experience managing in a unionized environment is preferred
Ability to make sound choices and recommendations based on analytical evaluations
Ability to provide leadership, motivation, and training for development of the distribution team
Ability to cultivate, manage and foster a diverse team of employees
Ability to initiate activities and perform duties without direct supervision
Possess excellent organization and time-management skills
