Superintendent III
Job Description
Winter Construction is seeking a Superintendent III to lead the execution of complex commercial, education, and municipal construction projects throughout the Atlanta area. This role is responsible for overseeing all field operations while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient jobsite from start-up through closeout.
This position is best suited for an experienced field leader who has successfully led large, ground-up projects and is comfortable managing teams, schedules, subcontractors, and quality at scale.
What You’ll Do
• Lead all field operations from project start-up through closeout
• Supervise and develop field staff, including Assistant Superintendents and trade personnel
• Coordinate subcontractors and lead jobsite meetings and short-term planning efforts
• Drive project schedules, milestones, and near-term planning
• Ensure jobsite safety, quality control, and compliance with company and OSHA standards
• Oversee daily reports, field documentation, and as-built drawings
• Partner with project teams on budget awareness, pay applications, and cost controls
• Support preconstruction efforts, buyout activities, and project pursuits
• Maintain strong client relationships and contribute to repeat business
What We’re Looking For
• 10+ years of superintendent experience, including at least 5 years as lead superintendent on ground-up education and/or municipal projects
• Proven experience managing projects in the $100M+ range
• Background with a commercial general contractor required
• Strong scheduling experience using Primavera P6 or MS Project
• OSHA 30 certification required
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Local to the Atlanta area (no extensive travel required)
