Role Description Students Volunteer is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. In this role, volunteers support the planning and execution of youth-focused events, workshops, and campaigns, working closely with coordinators and fellow volunteers. Daily tasks may include assisting with outreach activities, coordinating with local institutions and communities, maintaining records of participant engagement, and providing on-ground support during programs. Volunteers may also help with basic administrative responsibilities, such as documentation, communication follow-ups, and logistics. The role offers practical experience in teamwork, community engagement, and leadership while contributing to the organization’s mission of youth empowerment.
Qualifications
• Interest in youth development, community service, and social impact, with a strong motivation to contribute to positive change.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively in diverse teams.
• Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks and support events and activities efficiently.
• Basic proficiency with digital tools (email, office applications, social media) for coordination and documentation.
• Reliability, accountability, and willingness to learn, with a proactive approach to taking initiative.
• Currently enrolled student or recent graduate, preferably residing in or able to commute to Chennai.
• Prior volunteering experience, participation in student clubs or community projects will be considered an advantage.
