About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Student Wellbeing Specialist to join our team at Cobram Secondary College.
The successful applicant will work as a member of the wellbeing team, providing professional student support services and supporting students in achieving their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide counselling services and support to students
Develop and implement small group tier two interventions to support student mental health and overall wellbeing
Assist in the day-to-day intake and support processes within the Wellbeing Hub
Act as an initial contact person for staff and students accessing the Wellbeing Hub
Provide support to individual students to offer counselling
Requirements:
Working towards a university qualification in Social Work, Counselling or Youth Work
Strong commitment to wellbeing and educational outcomes for young people
Demonstrated experience, skills, expertise and knowledge in supporting the wellbeing of students
