Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Stone Benchtop Installation Subcontractor to join our team on an ongoing basis. The ideal subcontractor will have proven experience in installing engineered and natural stone benchtops, with a strong focus on quality, accuracy, and professionalism on-site.
Key Responsibilities
Install kitchen islands, benchtops, splashbacks, and waterfall ends according to the provided CAD drawings and plans.
Handle and transport stone surfaces with care and proper lifting techniques.
Conduct on-site adjustments and minor trimming or polishing where required.
Ensure joints, seams, and silicone work meet high aesthetic and functional standards.
Liaise with site builder supervisors and our team members to ensure smooth installation and job completion.
Maintain clean and safe work areas and comply with all site safety and company policies.
Report any site issues, variations, or damages promptly.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years’ experience in stone benchtop installation.
Construction White Card (mandatory).
Public Liability and Workers Compensation insurance (must be current).
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
Own equipment, i.e lifting equipment or A-frames, full set of tools and equipment suitable for stone installation.

Pay: $24.95 – $71.44 per hour
