Sterile Compounding Pharmacy Technician

Compensation
Rate: Up to $26.00 per hour.
Core Responsibilities
Prepare complex sterile compounds tailored to exact patient needs.
Maintain rigorous documentation and quality control logs.
Ensure compliance with USP <795>, USP <797>, USP <800>, state pharmacy regulations, and federal laws.
Maintain organized inventory within the cleanroom suite, track chemical lot numbers, and monitor expiration dates.
Requirements
Active, unrestricted State Board of Pharmacy Technician license and/or Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) credential. If not certified, must work to receive certification within 1 year.
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum 2 years experience in a sterile compounding environment, either in a 503A or hospital is highly preferred.
Must have absolute attention to detail and zero tolerance for shorthand safety protocols.

This role is responsible for the daily preparation of patient-specific, customized Compounded Sterile Preparations within a 503A Community Compounding Pharmacy. All duties are performed under the direct, face-to-face supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
Pay: $21.00 - $26.00 per hour
