About the Role

We’re looking for a dynamic, hands-on STEM Design Thinking Educator who can inspire students through a maker-centered, project-based learning environment. This role is perfect for someone who blends curiosity, creativity, and technical expertise — and is passionate about helping children turn ideas into real-world innovations.

You’ll lead sessions in our well-equipped Innovation Labs, delivering engaging lessons across age groups using principles of STEAM, design thinking, and experiential learning. Your work will help build 21st-century skills like critical thinking, collaboration, resilience, and creativity in our students.

Key Responsibilities

Facilitate high-impact, hands-on learning experiences using tools such as 3D printers, electronics kits, robotics platforms, and basic woodworking tools.
Design and deliver interdisciplinary STEM lessons across grades, in collaboration with other faculty.
Manage and maintain two in-school Maker Labs (Primary Secondary), ensuring student safety and material readiness.
Lead student-driven projects, innovation showcases, and maker exhibitions.
Organize workshops for parents and contribute to the school’s parent engagement calendar.
Work closely with academic teams to integrate maker projects with subjects like science, math, arts, and humanities.
Collaborate with external maker/innovation teams to enhance lab setup, curriculum, and teacher development.
Who We’re Looking For

Educational Background: Bachelor’s/Master’s in Engineering (Electronics or Computer Science preferred), Design, Architecture, Liberal Arts (interdisciplinary combinations welcome).
Experience: Prior experience in a makerspace, innovation lab, or hands-on STEM education environment is highly desirable.
Strong understanding of design thinking and a passion for experiential learning.
Comfortable with tools, technology, and teaching in an unstructured, creative environment.
Excellent communication skills and a natural ability to connect with children.
