Role Description This is a part-time, remote Staff Writer role. The Staff Writer will research and develop clear, engaging written content such as blog posts, thought leadership articles, newsletters, case studies, and educational materials focused on healthcare, AI, and career transition topics. In this role, the writer will collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex technical and clinical concepts into accessible language for diverse audiences. Daily responsibilities include outlining content, drafting and revising copy, incorporating feedback from editors and stakeholders, and ensuring accuracy, consistency, and brand alignment. The Staff Writer will also help maintain an editorial calendar, support content optimization for digital channels, and contribute ideas for new content formats and series that align with organizational goals.
Qualifications
Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills, with the ability to produce clear, concise, and accurate content for digital formats.Experience researching and synthesizing information from technical, clinical, or academic sources into accessible narratives.Familiarity with content planning or editorial workflows, including outlining, drafting, revising, and working within deadlines.Comfort writing for online platforms (blogs, newsletters, social media, or learning portals) and adapting tone and style to different audiences.Interest in healthcare, data, AI, or technology, with a willingness to learn and write about new tools, skills, and industry trends.Ability to collaborate effectively in a remote environment, receive and act on feedback, and manage multiple assignments independently.Preferred: background in healthcare, education, communications, journalism, or a related field, or equivalent experience in content creation.Preferred: familiarity with SEO basics, content management systems, and analytics tools to help optimize and refine content performance.
