Job description
Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized Staff Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles and experience with financial analysis and reporting.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Completing monthly bank and credit card reconciliations;
• Reconciling and posting merchant fee statements;
• Reconciling 3rd party payment processors;
• Filing and recording documents and receipts;
• Recording financial transactions and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.

The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications:
• A high school diploma or equivalent certification;
• An associate degree in Accounting or Business field;
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook);
• Experience with QuickBooks strongly preferred;
• Effective written and verbal communication skills;
• Ability to learn and adapt to new software and tools.

Key Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have a strong analytical mind and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
