JOB TITLE: Staff Accountant / Tax Preparer (Full-Time or Part-Time)

We specialize in all aspects of small business accounting services, as well as Individual and Business tax returns. We offer accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, business consulting, and tax services to a wide variety of clients across many industries. We provide a modern workplace by embracing technology and adapting to changes. We are a small office with locations in Andover and Plymouth, MN. RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Review, analyze, and oversee the accounting and bookkeeping for small business clients
- Financial Reporting
- Client consulting and interaction
- Accounting and bookkeeping using QuickBooks
- Preparation and review of budgets and financial projections
- Tax preparation for Business and Individual tax return
- General Ledger Review
- Journal Entry preparation
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s Degree in accounting
- CPA (preferred)
- 5+ years of small business accounting experience
- 5+ years tax preparation experience (preferred)
- Experience working with QuickBooks, Excel, and Microsoft Office
- Tech savvy, able to learn and work with multiple software
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
- Detail oriented and analytical thinker
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Self-motivated, outgoing, and professional
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Forward thinking, resourceful, innovative
- Passion for helping small business owners
COMPENSATION/HOURS:
This position can be full-time or part-time, with an optional hybrid work schedule in the future. We are flexible with your choice of our Plymouth or Andover offices and hours. This is a new position and can be tailored to match a candidate’s qualifications. Pay is based on experience and qualifications.
