Sr. Principal Backend Engineer

Job description
We are looking for a high-impact Principal/Senior Principal Backend Engineer who can architect and build scalable backend systems powering enterprise-grade platforms. You will lead the design and development of high-performance distributed systems, work closely with product and platform teams, and drive engineering excellence across architecture, scalability, and reliability. This role requires deep expertise in C#/. NET backend development, strong database fundamentals, and experience building cloud-native systems at scale.

Responsibilities:
• Architect and build scalable backend services and APIs using C#/. NET.
• Design high-performance distributed systems and enterprise-grade backend architectures.
• Build and optimize data-intensive applications using MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Definite technical standards, architecture patterns, and engineering best practices.
• Collaborate with product, platform, and engineering teams to deliver scalable features.
• Mentor engineers and elevate code quality, design standards, and system reliability.
• Identify performance bottlenecks and drive system scalability and optimization.

Requirements:
• Experience: 9+ years.
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS / Azure / GCP).
• Exposure to Kubernetes, Docker, or containerized environments.
• Experience working on enterprise SaaS platforms.
• Exposure to real-time systems or event-driven architectures.
