Job Description
Oracle Apps DBA is required to support Production/ Stage/ Development Oracle EBS in a 247 shift support model.
The Oracle APPS DBA will be responsible for the installation, configuration, upgrading, administrating, monitoring, troubleshooting, cloning, Patching, Backup, and restoration of Oracle EBS. Would be responsible for reviewing applications/databases, identifying performance bottlenecks, and fixing along with daily production health checks
Desirable Skills :
Responsibilities :
• Performing Daily health checks for a production environment, identifying the performance bottlenecks, and working on fixing them.
• Perform regular DBA support using tools like Serena or ServiceNow.
• Providing technical inputs towards maintaining a large complex production environment.
• Perform Capacity planning for instances and growth.
• Good knowledge in latest versions of Oracle database/E Business suite architecture and components (1+c, 12c, 12.2 EBS, etc.)
• Knowledge of Oracle security basics, and experience in working with ISO and Auditing.
• Expert in RAC, ASM, and WebLogic Administration.
• Experience in all routine DBA tasks including health checks, troubleshooting issues, and installations.
• Good knowledge of PLSQL and SQL
• Knowledge of traces, tkprof and find poorly performing SQL.sql, profiling, rewrite poorly performing SQL.
• Knowledge of Load balancing, PCP, Configurators, JVM’s, archiving and purging tools like HP Archiving,
• SOA gateway, kanban knowledge is added on.
• Knowledge of Oracle database wait for events, Database, and Application parameters
• Ability to fine-tune the concurrent processing in a large EBS environment.
• Good knowledge of OEM.
• Install, upgrade, patch, and administer the EBusiness application and database.
• Experience with Oracle data guard.
• Experience in RMAN backup & restore activities
• Knowledge of OS parameters and settings, UNIX shell scripting,
• Performing (DB + Application) Patch Analysis & Applying Patches.
EXPERIENCE:
• 10+ years of Oracle Experience
• Willingness to work the 247 shifts.
Key Scanners: Oracle Database, Oracle DBA, Oracle E-Business Suite, OEM
Shift – Open for Rotational Shifts.
Work from office only ( Monday to Friday )
Years Of Experience: 10 to 12 yrs
