About the role:
To help accelerate our growth further, Nium is looking for a Sr. Manager/Manager - Technical Accounting.
What we want you to do here:
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, in consideration of IFRS/US GAAP.
• Assist with the implementation and reporting of the new accounting standards.
• Preparation of complex financial modelling to support internal and external valuation requests.
• Preparation and review of annual financial statements and footnotes to ensure compliance with relevant authoritative rules and regulations.
• Review and interpret contracts to determine proper treatment; advise business partners on structure and terminology.
• Corporate and foreign taxation.
• Research new technical accounting standards, and work with accounting teams to implement them.
Requirements
About the role:
To help accelerate our growth further, Nium is looking for a Sr. Analyst - Tax.
What we want you to do here:
• Work with external tax consultants and internal accounting teams in preparing all direct and indirect tax returns and reviewing the documents for accuracy.
• Make recommendations about tax returns regarding tax breaks, expenses, deductions, and other ways to save on tax payments.
• Stay up to date on all tax laws and changes.
• Calculate taxes owed, savings gained through deductions, and expenses that affect final tax estimates.
Requirement:
• Min 2+ years' experience in a public accounting firm (Big 4 preferred) and/or MNC
• CPA or CA must.
• Should be technically strong with Direct/Indirect tax.
• Demonstrate strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and meticulous
• Possess good business acumen and is highly adaptive.
• Mature, proactive, resourceful, and hands-on with good initiative.
• Independent worker who can work well with minimal supervision.
