Job Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Sr. Instrumentation Design Engineer that is the combination of technical expertise, leadership skills, should play a critical role in driving professional development in their teams with Hands-on experience with MS Office, AutoCAD, PDMS, E3D, SP3D, SPI, IN tools.
Key Responsibilities
· Basic and detailed engineering knowledge in Power plants, Refineries, Offshore, Chemical, Metal & Mining industry, etc.
· Provide technical leadership and guidance in the selection, specification, and procurement of instrumentation equipment and components.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, specifications, and deliverables, and ensure alignment with client expectations.
· Develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for instrumentation engineering activities, and oversee the execution of projects to ensure on-time delivery and within budget.
· Collaborate with project managers, process engineers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements and deliverables, and ensure alignment with client expectations.
· Review and approve instrumentation design drawings, specifications, and documentation to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
· Extensive knowledge of instrumentation principles, techniques, and methodologies, including control systems, sensors, actuators, and signal processing including architecture drawing.
· Proficiency in engineering software tools such as CAD, SPI , PLC programming, SCADA systems, and simulation software. (FAT & SAT)
· Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
· Preparation of data sheets/specifications.
· Technical bid evaluation, recommendation and Vendor drawing review.
· Knowledge on Hazardous area classification.
· Flexible to work on challenging schedules.
· Adherence to Quality Assurance system, procedures, Design basis, design guidelines /Standards/ Specification as applicable.
· Mentoring/Training of design engineers.
· Understanding the importance of techno-commercial design optimization and the mutual influence of technical and commercial aspects.
Requirements:
B.E. / B.Tech in Instrumentation with 8-10 Years of experience.
Hands-on experience with MS Office, AutoCAD, PDMS, E3D, SP3D, SPI, IN tools
