The brand designs and handcrafts festive and everyday wear for a modern wardrobe, including sherwanis, indo-western sets, signature jackets, sarees, kurta collections, co-ords, and occasion wear. Every garment is deeply rooted in Indian craft traditions such as Ajrakh, hand block printing, and intricate embroidery. KIAAYO is strongly committed to artisan-led production, with more than 90% of its workforce comprising skilled women artisans from Gujarat. The label offers a creative environment that values craftsmanship, cultural heritage, and contemporary design.
Role Description
The Sr. Fashion Designer will lead the conceptualization and design of luxury ethnic and contemporary collections, ensuring alignment with KIAAYO’s brand identity and craft-focused aesthetic. Responsibilities include creating design sketches, developing concepts and mood boards, selecting fabrics and trims, supervising sampling, refining fits, managing stock and inventory, and collaborating with artisans and production teams to bring handcrafted designs to life. The role also involves reviewing prototypes, contributing to seasonal collections, and supporting market-driven design decisions. This is a full-time, in office role based in Ahmedabad.
