Duties
Perform precise sewing, tailoring, and alterations on wedding gowns
Measure clients accurately to determine necessary adjustments and ensure optimal fit
Use industrial sewing machines efficiently to construct or modify garments according to specifications
Communicate with customers to understand their needs and provide expert advice on alterations and garment care
Maintain a clean, organized workspace and ensure all tools and equipment are in excellent condition
Follow safety protocols when operating sewing machines and other equipment
Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines while maintaining high-quality standards
Experience
Experience in bridal sewing (min 2 years) or Experience in couture sewing min 5 years
Strong sewing skills with proficiency in operating industrial sewing machines
Knowledge of garment fitting, pattern adjustments, and fabric types
Excellent customer service skills with experience communicating clearly and professionally in a front facing role
Basic math skills for taking measurements, calculating alterations, and managing fabric quantities
Familiarity with sewing machine maintenance and troubleshooting is a plus
A keen eye for detail combined with a passion for craftsmanship ensures every garment is perfect

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
