We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Sr. Resource US Accounting to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of US GAAP, Sales Tax compliance, and hands-on expertise in QuickBooks Online (QBO). Solid leadership and communication skills are essential for guiding a team and collaborating with clients and internal stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage client accountants handling US-based clients and accounting processes.
Process day-to-day accounting activities including AP, AR, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close.
Ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions in QuickBooks Online (QBO).
Review and prepare Sales Tax filings across multiple US states in compliance with applicable tax laws.
Act as a point of contact for escalations and resolve complex accounting or system issues.
Provide coaching, guidance, and regular feedback to team members to support performance and development.
Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to ensure deliverables and SLAs are met.
Prepare financial reports, reconciliations, and supporting schedules for management and audit requirements.
Assist in streamlining and improving accounting systems and processes. .
