Position Overview

The role of the Process and Domain Trainer requires training professionals with the qualifications and experience to successfully train new and existing Digital Risk associates in policies, procedures, and work related functions.

Essential Job Functions

 Has strong verbal and written communication skills

 Must be able to work cooperatively with other co-workers regardless of personality, presence or communication style

 Must be able to coordinate multiple and changing priorities with a flexible attitude

 Possess the ability to deliver clear and consistent training materials

 Must be flexible and able to thrive in a fast paced environment

 Maintain awareness of mortgage training needs through close partnerships and frequent communication with Operations management and staff

 Serve as Subject Matter Expert as needed

 Support the credibility and professionalism of the Learning and Development department by carefully proofreading documents to ensure accuracy and quality of content

 Ensure the functionality and effectiveness of equipment, adequacy of supplies, and professional appearance of training facilities

 Formulate and communicate new ideas and suggestions that will improve profitability and efficiency for the company’s overall operation

 Promote professionalism at all times

 Must be able to arrive at work on time, work on site or off site if required and have regular work attendance

 Provide feedback to managers regarding the effectiveness and success of the various training programs

 Travel to alternate work locations assessing needs and training as necessary

 Set expectations and tone, while motivating new and existing employees in and out of the classroom environment

 Maintain proficiency in creating and delivering training materials and information in a variety of media, whether in person face-to-face, or virtually instructor led

 Must be able to interact with Learning and Development department peers and managers on a daily basis

 Must be well-organized and possess a high degree of attention to detail

 Must be a self-starter who is comfortable working in an ambiguous environment

 Must be a collaborative team player, willing to learn new skills quickly and develop innovative approaches

 Reviews work performed by others and provides recommendations for improvement

Requirements

 Has a passion and enthusiasm for teaching

 Mortgage Loan Fulfillment Knowledge

 Proficient in MS Office Products (Excel, Word, Power Point, Outlook, Teams)

 Well versed in adult learning theories and classroom methodologies

 Strong experience managing and training associates in a virtual classroom environment

 Experience in mortgage or financial industries

 Training Certification and/or Teaching Experience/License a plus

 Flexibility to travel to other Digital Risk sites as business need requires

 A work product and/or demonstration may be required

 Participate in the creation and development of new training materials and ideas as needed

 Provide status updates to Training Manager on class progression as expectations dictate

 Maintain proficiency in creating and delivering training materials and information in a variety of media, including computer based, web based and classroom

 Ensure all participants attendance and results are recorded, obtain and evaluate surveys/feedback from class participants and their managers
