Job Description
Job Summary:
We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accounts Executive specializing in US Accounting to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle a wide range of accounting functions for direct clients and/or CPA firms. This role requires solid hands-on experience with QuickBooks and a clear understanding of accounting principles relevant to US operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounts Payable (AP):
Manage purchase orders, vendor bills, and payment approvals
Process payments and perform vendor reconciliations
Accounts Receivable (AR):
Handle sales orders, raise customer invoices, record receipts
Reconcile customer accounts regularly
POS/PMS-Based AR Management:
Daily sales and receipt entries
Revenue tracking and reconciliation
Bank & Credit Card Management:
Post daily transactions
Perform regular reconciliations
Payroll Accounting:
Process payroll entries
Reconcile payroll with bank and ledger records
Accounting Data Entry & Reconciliations:
Ensure accuracy and completeness of all financial entries
Perform regular reconciliations of ledgers and sub-ledgers
Month-End/Year-End Closing:
Post closing entries: accruals, prepayments, deferred revenue
Handle intercompany transactions and other adjustments
Fixed Assets & Inventory Management:
Record fixed assets, calculate depreciation/amortization
Manage inventory transactions or adjustments as required
Financial & MIS Reporting:
Prepare Profit & Loss statements, Balance Sheets, and Cash Flow reports
Conduct financial reviews including variance, comparative, and budget analyses
Deliver customized MIS reports such as AR & AP aging and other insights
Additional Details:
Client Exposure: The candidate will handle either direct clients or work through CPA firms based on capabilities and project needs.
Work Culture: While the role involves structured hours, flexibility is offered. Extended work hours or weekend support may occasionally be required. In return, employees are encouraged to take lighter workdays when the workload permits.
