Accounts & Inventory Executive
Job Description
We are looking for a hands-on Accounts & Inventory Executive who can take complete ownership of our day-to-day accounting, inventory records and batch-level stock control.
Key Responsibilities
Accounts & Tally
Maintain day-to-day accounts in Tally Prime
Purchase, sales, receipt, payment, journal and expense entries
Maintain customer and supplier ledgers
Bank reconciliation and cash reconciliation
GST-related accounting coordination and documentation
Outstanding receivables and payables tracking
Verify purchase invoices, sales invoices and supporting documents
Maintain proper accounting records and documentation
Coordinate with CA/accountant for GST, TDS, finalisation and statutory requirements
Inventory Management
Maintain accurate raw material, packaging material, WIP and finished goods inventory
Record all inward and outward stock movements
Purchase receipt and stock verification
Daily/weekly/monthly inventory reconciliation
Identify stock differences, shortages, excesses and unexplained movements
Maintain minimum stock and reorder levels
Coordinate with production and purchase teams for stock requirements
Conduct and document periodic physical stock verification
Batch & Production Control
Maintain batch-wise inventory records
Track raw materials used against production batches
Record production quantities and finished goods generated
Track batch numbers, manufacturing dates and expiry/best-before dates
Maintain batch-wise stock movement and traceability
Monitor material consumption versus expected consumption
Identify production wastage, variances and abnormal consumption
Maintain proper records for chocolate, cocoa, couverture, ingredients, packaging and finished products
What We Are Looking For
Mandatory:
Strong practical knowledge of Tally Prime
Strong understanding of inventory accounting
Experience with batch-wise inventory / stock control
Good knowledge of purchase and sales accounting
Good Excel/Google Sheets skills
Understanding of GST and basic accounting principles
Ability to independently reconcile physical stock with system stock
Strong attention to detail
Willingness to work closely with a manufacturing/production environment
