Job Description
We’re looking for a Senior Speech Pathologist to join our multidisciplinary clinical team. As our existing Allied Health team continues to do amazing work, our referral base keeps quickly growing, creating opportunities to expand our team.
We are looking for someone who is genuinely motivated to create meaningful, lasting change in people’s lives. You’ll work alongside care teams, families, and the systems that support them to implement real, evidence-based interventions in real-world settings.
If you’re a practitioner who has been wondering whether there’s more than the therapy room and whether you could apply your assessment, intervention design, and therapeutic skills more broadly, more systemically, and more collaboratively – this role was built for you. There would also be an opportunity to apply your existing skillset into new areas, such as; training delivery, behaviour support and/or organisational development, should these pathways be of interest.

What You’ll Be Doing
The successful candidate will be given an opportunity to participate in improving other people’s lives by delivering high-quality, person-centred services, working with a range of clients across a range of care needs from short-term involvement, to complex, long-term needs. This will involve, but is not limited to:
assessing, diagnosing and managing clients who present with a wide range of communication and swallowing disorders;
participation in complex multidisciplinary assessments;
providing client support including clinic or home-based sessions, training and resource development
The position is suitable for experienced practitioners who are able to work independently and are excited to build up our allied health team in Melbourne. The successful candidate will be integrally involved in delivering speech pathology services in Victoria and, for the Senior Practitioner position, this would also involve providing supervision and support to the speech pathology team.
Our office is based in Ringwood. The position will require regular travel around the Melbourne metro area and occasional regional travel. Opportunities for interstate / remote area projects are available to our team of practitioners at times. There is also an option to work from home for administration / report writing
