A Senior Backend Developer NET is the architect and engine behind the serverside logic ensuring systems are highperforming secure and ready to scale At this level youre not just writing APIsyoure designing the entire ecosystem they live in
Core Roles Responsibilities
System Architecture Design and implement scalable distributed systems using NET 68 You choose between Microservices or Modular Monoliths based on business needs
API Design Development Build robust RESTful APIs or gRPC services You ensure they follow OpenAPISwagger standards for seamless frontend integration
Database Management Architect complex schemas and optimize queries for SQL Server EF Core or NoSQL databases like MongoDBCosmosDB You handle migrations and performance tuning
Cloud Infrastructure Deploy and manage services on platforms like Azure App Services Functions Service Bus or AWS You leverage Infrastructure as Code TerraformBicep for environment consistency
Security Compliance Implement OAuth2OpenID Connect using IdentityServer or Azure AD You ensure data protection and secure communication
Performance Optimization Use tools like BenchmarkDotNet to identify bottlenecks You implement caching strategies using Redis to reduce latency
Mentorship Quality Lead code reviews and set coding standards SOLID DRY You define the testing strategy including Unit Testing xUnitNUnit and Integration Testing
CICD Leadership Own the DevOps pipeline utilizing Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions to automate builds tests and deployments
Key Technical Stack
