Solutions Consultant - Presales
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
• Conduct product demos and technical presentations tailored to customer use cases
• Lead discovery conversations to understand business and technical requirements
• Position the product effectively within customer workflows and business environments
• Collaborate with marketing to create demo assets, FAQs, and technical collateral
• Work closely with customer success and onboarding teams to ensure smooth product adoption
• Partner with product and engineering teams to share customer feedback and influence product improvements
• Respond to RFPs, RFIs, and technical queries during the sales process
Qualifications:
• 3–5 years of experience in Pre-Sales, Solutions Engineering, or Sales Engineering within a B2B SaaS or software company
• Proven experience conducting software demos and technical discovery calls with mid-market or enterprise clients
• Strong understanding of SaaS products, cloud platforms, APIs, or analytics/BI tools
• Prior experience in a software/product company (not manufacturing, hardware, or industrial domains)
• Familiarity with CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar
• Exposure to sales/demo tools like Gong, Loom, Navattic, etc. is a plus
• Excellent communication and presentation skills for client-facing interactions
Nice to Have:
• Experience working in fast-paced startup environments
• Understanding of B2B sales cycles and solution selling approaches
We are a SaaS/software product company, and this role is focused on supporting our B2B sales efforts through technical expertise and solution consulting. This position is strictly for candidates with experience in software or SaaS pre-sales. Candidates from mechanical, electrical, or core engineering backgrounds will not be considered.
