Job Title: Solution Architect with Retail/ecommerce experience.
Location: San Ramon, CA (Hybrid, 4 days onsite per week)
Job Type: Long-term Contract
Experience Range: 12-20 years
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Solution Architect with a strong focus on UI/Frontend architecture to join our team. In this role, you will be instrumental in designing and delivering end-to-end solutions for retail applications, ensuring they meet client expectations and business needs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to craft scalable, high-performance, and intuitive user interfaces that align with business goals and technical requirements.
This is a long-term contract position, requiring you to work hybrid (4 days onsite per week) at our San Ramon, CA location.
Key Responsibilities:
• Solution Design: Lead the architecture design for UI/Frontend solutions in retail applications, ensuring alignment with client requirements and business objectives.
• End-to-End Architecture: Develop and implement comprehensive end-to-end solution architectures, integrating UI, frontend, and backend components effectively.
• UI/UX Collaboration: Work closely with UX/UI designers to translate design concepts into scalable, high-performance front-end solutions.
• Technical Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to frontend developers, ensuring best practices in coding, architecture, and performance optimization.
• Client Engagement: Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs and translate them into technical architecture and solution plans.
• Technology Strategy: Stay current with the latest frontend technologies (React, Angular, Vue.js, etc.) and industry trends, proposing new solutions and methodologies for continuous improvement.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work with backend architects, data engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and delivery of the full solution.
• Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, design decisions, and implementation guidelines.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Solution Architect with a focus on UI/Frontend solutions.
• Strong expertise in frontend technologies including React.js, Angular, Vue.js, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript (ES6+), TypeScript.
• Deep understanding of frontend architecture, including component design, state management (e.g., Redux, Context API), and performance optimization.
• Strong experience in retail applications or similar domains, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and integrating frontend solutions with backend systems.
• Solid understanding of UI/UX principles, with the ability to work collaboratively with designers.
• Experience with responsive design and ensuring cross-browser compatibility.
• Knowledge of Agile and DevOps methodologies.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with both technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
