Job Description
We are looking for a talented Node.js & Python Developer who is passionate about creating robust and scalable web applications. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining server-side applications, collaborating with the front-end development team, and integrating external data sources through web scraping. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of both Node.js and Python, as well as experience in full stack web development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain server-side applications using Node.js and Python.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate server-side logic with user-facing elements.
- Develop and implement data scraping solutions to extract and process data from various websites and APIs.
- Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the entire application stack.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and ensure timely delivery.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies in web development and data scraping.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of relevant work experience
- Strong proficiency in both Node.js and Python (Minimum 1-2 years).
- Solid understanding of web scraping techniques and experience with related libraries and tools (e.g., Puppeteer, BeautifulSoup, Selenium, Scrapy).
- Experience with full stack web development, including front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js) is a plus.
- Proficient in working with databases (e.g., MongoDB, MySQL).
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Experience with Agile development methodologies is a plus.
