The Opportunity
We are looking for a Software Engineer NodeJS Lead who has good experience in creating Complex NodeJS based API service layers. We want someone who has enjoyed creating scalable, high-productivity tools and/or applications for multiple domains. You are the perfect fit if you thrive in a collaborative environment working with other developers, researchers, and product team members to deliver best practices in NodeJS development, API Development, and product implementation. A passion for your team, Software Engineering, client service, is necessary.
You will have the opportunity to collaborate with, and mentor some of the brightest technical minds in our team. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with dynamic skills who are excited to join us.
Key Responsibilities: Your Mission, Your Impact
Should have hands-on experience in both Javascript and Typescript.
Proven work experience as a NodeJS developer (Express or Nest).
Must have knowledge and hands-on experience of AWS or Azure services.
Having knowledge of or work experience on CI/CD will be an added advantage.
Selection will have a strong bias for problem-solving and effective execution.
Excellent knowledge of RESTful API development
Knowledge of SOAP APIs will be an advantage
Writing reusable, highly testable (TDD), and very well documented code
Should be proficient in writing Unit test cases using tools like Mocha, Jest, etc.
Must have a very good idea on using ORMs for Relational Databases
Must have a very good idea on using ORMs for Non-Relational Databases
Should have some ideas on Database schema design & the general idea about database utilization
A good track record of writing accessible and detailed version-control commits, documentation and code reviews. Knowledge of proper feature branching flow is a must
Knowledge with socket programming like socket.io, etc. is must
Proficiency in any frontend technology (Angular, React, or Vue) will be an added advantage.
In this position, you will be challenged to understand business needs and the overall functionality of the product
Continuous learning and Can Do / Get it done attitude
Should have Excellent time-management, multi-tasking, and communication skills. Capable of juggling multiple tasks and related complexities at the same time
Should be Results-oriented, reliable, able to work under pressure with multiple projects.
We are searching for someone with
5 to 10 Years of experience working on cutting edge API development technologies, ideally for an enterprise product/ SaaS products development and implementation.
Good creative thinking, problem-solving, planning, time-management, and organization skills to balance and prioritize work.
Good communication skills to communicate with customers, support personnel, and management.
Good skills at managing risks during product discovery, development & launches.
Skills with team management and experience in ensuring that the team is following the process & quality need.
