What you will be doing
• Functional Requirements and perform requirement analysis
• Estimate and Monitor Estimates
• Work with Business teams to prioritize work
• Prepare detailed design documentation
• Development/Enhancement/Bug fixes
• Handling production issues
• Responding to queries raised by various stakeholders
• Close co-ordination with boundary partners like Operations/Clients Services etc.
• Rotational On-Call Night Support

Knowledge / Experience
• Extensive experience of software delivery lifecycle
• Proven programming experience
• Working in stressed environment
• Handling conflicts
• Ease of prioritizing
• Good communication skills
Skills
Technical Skills:
• iSeries Development Expertise in technologies such as RPG/RPGLE, CL/CLLE, DB2/400, SQLRPGLE, Batch jobs, DFUs.
• Knowledge of iSeries API's, Data queues, User queues, multi-threading, Journaling and IBM iSeries file systems such as Library based system etc.
• Experience with SQL and MQ Series is a plus.

• Degree or equivalent

• Fluent in English
• Excellent communicator – ability to discuss technical and functional solutions to internal and external parties and adapt depending on the technical or business focus of the discussion
• Attention to detail – track record of authoring high quality documentation
• Organized approach – manage and adapt priorities according to client and internal requirements
• Self-starter but team mindset - work autonomously and as part of a global team.
