Summary:

Exceptionally good full stack product developer with experience working approximately 2 to 5 years of experience in Java, Spring MVC, Spring Boot, Database design and query handling.

Experience with RESTful Web Services/Microservices (JSON) creation.

Experience in data parsing/processing using batch and stream mode.

Proficiency with OS- Linux, virtual machines, and open source tools/platforms

Experience in messaging platforms like Kafka, Pub/Sub, ActiveMQ etc. is an added advantage.

Understanding of data modelling and storage with NoSQL or relational DBs

Experience with Jenkins, Containerized Microservices deployment (Docker or Kubernetes) in Cloud environment build and test environments is an added advantage.

Experience in Big Data development (Spark, Hive, Impala, Time-series DB etc.) is an added advantage.

Experience in Agile Development methodologies would be desirable.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Solid understanding of building Microservices/Webservices using Java framework.

Solid understanding of REST API standards and practices.

Strong object-oriented analysis and design patterns.

Participate in full integration testing

Preferred experience with cloud technologies like Azure, AWS and GCP.

Pre-Requisites / Skills / Experience Requirements:

Telecom domain experience is an added advantage

Experience working in at least one of the following protocols is a definite plus. TCP, UDP, SNMP, SSH, FTP, SFTP, Corba, SOAP etc.

Self-starter who takes initiative and is proactive

Cares deeply about writing quality/testable/modular code

Excellent communication, analytical and problem solving skills

Experience in Big Data platforms like Cloudera, Hortonworks, Apache Hadoop, Apache Spark, YARN, TimescaleDB, Elastic Search etc. is an added advantage.

Able to comprehend and contribute during team meetings/ updates

Experience in a start-up environment desirable
