Job Description
Pepper Content (www.peppercontent.io) is building a global content marketplace that brings companies and content creators together to scale up content creation processes across 75+ content verticals and 150+ content categories. Over the past 4.5 years, over 100,000+ freelance content creators have applied to be part of the Pepper network of which we work with the top 5% talent, and on the other end - we work with over 2500+ customers like Amazon, Adobe, Google, HDFC Bank, Adani, and majority of the startup ecosystem.
We are building a global SaaS-enabled marketplace for fast-growth SMB, mid-market and enterprise customers that helps marketers manage all their activities ranging from content creation to workflow management and content distribution. Now we are in a rapid expansion phase to enter into more content service offerings and engage a wide spectrum of content creators, and to facilitate all our ambitions, we are planning to launch multiple product verticals and we are looking for a Senior SDET who has a keen eye for user interaction and production functioning, and a curious mind to tangle-and-untangle them.
We’re looking for someone who is meticulous, comfortable with uncertainty, flexible and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get their hands dirty. The SDET's responsibilities will include understanding API flows and implementation of the tests which add API automation in our critical flows. Experience with reporting of results and CI/CD pipeline is highly desired. You should have a passion for designing, testing and be a strong executor.

At Pepper Content, you will:
• Understanding the flow of code and how it interacts with different components.
• Understanding project documents, product objectives, API calls to create and execute test cases.
• Setting up, maintaining, and performing test automation on multiple application platforms, such as Mobile, Desktop, and Web, and building test scenarios and acceptance tests.
• Investigating customer problems referred to you by the technical support team and creating and managing bug reports.
• Working with devops' team to integrate tests in CI , monitor any failure alerts and offer inputs on the testability of functional elements and product designs.
• Noting all testing actions you have performed in daily and weekly reports.
• Analyzing and disintegrating software systems and coordinating with other teams to enhance the overall design.
• Researching test tools, methodologies, and trends and upgrading existing practices and processes.
• Managing the final quality on production release.
Should apply if you have:
• A Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field.
• Excellent framework designing and programming skills.
• Experience of having worked on Python projects and comfortable with Python language.
• Knowledge of test methodologies ,Jenkins, REST APIs, best practices and the corresponding tools.
• Knowledge of testing framework Pytest is preferred
• The ability to recognize risks and errors in an application.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Good time management and organizational skills.
• The ability to keep current with the constantly changing technology industry.
• A passion for testing, development, and design.
