Role: SDET I/II (Software Development Engineer in Test – I/II)

Working Days: 5 days working (Monday to Friday)
Job Description:
Your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities aimed at ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software products. You will play a crucial role in the development and maintenance of automated test frameworks, test suites, and testing strategies across multiple platforms. Your expertise will contribute to the enhancement of our software development processes and the delivery of high-quality products to our customers.
Job Responsibilities:
• Test Framework Development: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop robust and scalable test automation frameworks for Android, web, and API testing. Implement best practices for code organization, maintainability, and extensibility within the test framework.
• Test Scripting and Execution: Create and maintain automated test scripts covering functional, regression, and performance testing. Execute automated test suites regularly and analyze test results to identify defects, inconsistencies, and performance bottlenecks.
• Test Strategy and Planning: Collaborate with QA, development, and product teams to define comprehensive test strategies and test plans.
• Continuous Integration and Deployment: Integrate automated tests into the continuous integration and deployment pipeline.
• Performance and Scalability Testing: Design, implement, and execute performance and scalability tests to identify system bottlenecks and areas for optimization.
• Test Reporting: Produce clear and concise reports on test progress, results, and defects for various stakeholders.
• Technical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and mentorship to QA. Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving overall code quality and testability.
• Test Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for test cases, test scripts, test environments, and test data.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Proven experience as an SDET or similar role, with a strong background in automated testing.
• Proficiency in Java programming languages for test automation.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Appium, RestAssured).
• Familiarity with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
