CGI is looking for an Intermediate Business Analyst
As part of our continued growth, CGI is seeking a passionate and motivated Business Analyst to join a team operating in a complex, global financial environment. In this role, you will play a key part in understanding business needs, designing high-quality solutions, and supporting operations while collaborating with a diverse set of international stakeholders.
Your future duties and responsibilities
Collaborate closely with stakeholders in a complex financial environment involving multiple applications and architectures across regional and global platforms
Gather, analyze, and document business requirements and pain points, translating them into clear and actionable technical specifications
Provide functional and technical expertise to design, promote, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-quality solutions
Document system requirements and maintain operational procedures (runbooks)
Design, optimize, and maintain complex SQL queries and stored procedures
Define, automate, and execute test scenarios to ensure solution quality
Work closely with globally distributed development teams
Understand and incorporate regulatory constraints within financial environments
Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve functional incidents, ensuring proper tracking and follow-up
Provide support to end users (Sales, Trading, Front Office, Middle Office, and Back Office)
Collaborate with development teams on release and deployment activities
Work with global support teams to ensure high-quality user support
Deliver tailored training sessions and support user adoption of solutions
Build and maintain strong relationships with end users
Support onboarding and training of new team members on processes and IT standards
Required qualifications to be successful in this role
Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field
