The role: As the Social Team Leader Community, you’ll be responsible for the daily management and supervision of social programs across the community settings. You’ll ensure our offerings align with the organisation’s social model and product specifications, while enabling our customers to stay engaged, connected, and thriving.
This full time role also provides critical support to the Head of Social, contributing to strategic outcomes and continuous improvement across the team.

What you’ll do:
Oversee the day-to-day delivery of social programs, ensuring they are inclusive, engaging, and aligned to customer needs.
Manage all logistics related to planning, organising, and resourcing social activities.
Supervise program facilitators and volunteers, providing guidance, support, and ensuring quality delivery.
Foster strong relationships with community members, supporting them to connect socially and live independently.
Work closely with the Head of Social Programs to achieve broader organisational goals and contribute to ongoing program development and innovation.
Monitor program performance, maintain accurate records, and ensure all activities meet safety and quality standards.
About you!
Qualifications in health, community, business or other relevant area or working towards.
Demonstrated people leadership skills.
Aged or disability experience working in a similar role within a complex environment.
Experience working with people at risk of social isolation and loneliness including those from a CALD background/ATSI background and people living with memory loss or dementia.
Understanding of the Aged Care Standards, various government funding and private options that support social programs.
Knowledge of the local community, it strengths, its assets, social opportunities and services.
Experience in program coordination, event planning, community development or a related field.
Strong organisational and time-management skills — you love a good checklist!
Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
A genuine passion for community connection, inclusion, and supporting people to live their best lives.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities, to work with volunteer, staff and customers.
Ability to manage competing priorities with a calm, solutions-focused approach.
A Police Check for working in Aged Care less than 12 months old at commencement.
A current drivers licence.
