About the Role
We are looking for a reliable and creative Social Media Marketing Manager to help share our story, grow our audience, and support our Makers. This is a part-time, hybrid role, with requirements to travel to and work equally at both the Dundas and Burlington locations. The occasional retail shift will be required and the candidate must stay up to date with all store processes and procedures.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and executing our social media strategy, enhancing brand awareness, and driving engagement and traffic across various platforms. This role requires a unique blend of online and in store presence with an emphasis on Vendor Relationships. Creativity, communication, and a deep understanding of digital marketing trends is critical to effectively connect with our customers.
Responsibilities
Work in store during holidays, events, or as needed
Stay up to date with our current vendors and products
Plan and schedule engaging content across Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, Pinterest, and other relevant platforms
Create high-quality photo and video content (iPhone, Canva, CapCut, etc.)
Design graphics for social media, promotions, and in-store displays
Manage comments, messages, and community engagement
Develop and execute marketing campaigns
Run paid advertising (Facebook/Instagram)
Track and report on analytics and campaign performance
Write occasional newsletters or blog posts (Mailchimp)
Use Shopify to sync products, run reports, and utilize marketing content
Develop and implement comprehensive social media strategies to increase brand visibility and engagement.
Utilize tools such as MetaBusiness for scheduling posts and monitoring engagement metrics.
Conduct SEO research to optimize content for search engines and increase organic reach.
Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in social media, digital marketing, and advertising to keep our strategies innovative.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
