We're looking for a Social Media Coordinator who lives and breathes social media. Someone who's constantly saving content ideas, follows creators for inspiration, spots trends early and already has an opinion on what brands should be doing differently online.
Reporting to the Head of Social, you'll help shape how Red Rooster shows up across TikTok, Instagram, Facebook and beyond. From filming content in restaurants and working with creators to engaging with our community and jumping on emerging trends, you'll play a hands-on role in bringing one of Australia's most recognised food brands to life online.
Key Activities Include:
Capture Content People Actually Want to Watch
Film and photograph content across restaurants, events, campaign shoots and even behind-the-scenes moments.
Create and edit short-form content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, Facebook and other social platforms.
Write engaging captions and social copy that reflects the Red Rooster brand and feels native to each platform.
Keep Our Channels Fresh
Schedule and publish content across social channels, ensuring posts are delivered accurately and on time.
Support national campaigns, promotional activity and product launches across social media.
Help maintain a steady pipeline of always-on, reactive and trend-led content.
Build Community & Creator Relationships
Monitor comments, messages and customer conversations, engaging with the community in line with brand guidelines.
Escalate customer issues where required and identify opportunities to drive meaningful engagement.
Support creator campaigns by coordinating approvals, product deliveries, content requirements and campaign logistics.
Spot Trends & Drive New Ideas
Stay across emerging trends, creators, platform updates, competitors and internet culture.
Analyse content performance, identify high-performing content and prepare regular reporting.
Proactively bring fresh content ideas and recommendations that improve engagement, reach and overall channel performance.
About You
Essential
1-3 years' experience in social media, content creation or digital marketing.
Strong photography, videography and short-form video editing skills.
Experience using tools such as CapCut, Canva and Adobe Creative Suite.
A genuine passion for social media, content trends and creator culture.
Proactive and confident taking ownership of ideas from concept through to execution.
Desirable
Experience supporting influencer or creator partnerships.
Exposure to hospitality, retail, QSR or consumer-facing brands.
Familiarity with content performance reporting and social analytics.
