Job Description
Location: Primary Schools across Auckland - Work close to home or uni!
About Us: Sports X provides engaging, high-quality after-school sports programs at primary schools, fostering physical activity, teamwork, and fun for young students. Our mission is to inspire children to develop a love for sports and lead active, healthy lives.
Position Overview: We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Sports Coaches to lead after-school sports sessions at local primary schools. The opportunity is casual, with a flexible timetable, up to 7.5 hours per week available. Remuneration starts at $36 per session (1.5 hours), moving up to $42 per session with strong performance. As a coach at Sports X, you will be responsible for delivering fun and educational sports activities that promote teamwork, skill development, and physical fitness.
Looking for candidates available on weekdays from 2:45pm to 4:15pm
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver structured sports sessions for children of various skill levels.
Foster a positive and inclusive environment that encourages participation and enjoyment.
Ensure the safety and well-being of all participants during sessions.
Qualifications/Experience:
Experience in coaching and/or working with children, preferably in sports.
A passion for sports and promoting physical activity.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
ESSENTIAL:
Participants must be willing to be police vetted.
Car/Transport is mandatory.
Availability from 2:45pm to 4:15pm on school days. Additional hours available for the right candidates who show reliability and high standards.
