At Natural Event Europe Ltd. we are looking for enthusiastic, hard-working and reliable Site Crew Members to join our team. This is a physical role with heavy lifting involved. A good level of fitness is recommended.
Natural Event is an international company based in Somerset UK. We provide mobile compost toilet solutions to festivals throughout the UK and across Europe. Key events in our season’s schedule include; Glastonbury (fallow year 2026), Boomtown Fair, Beat-Herde, Kendal Calling and Leeds Festival.
We operate throughout the season from June to September, with current vacancies starting in mid-July or beginning of August 2026. We’re looking for candidates interested in returning for seasonal work each year and keen to develop and progress within the company. Shifts may vary but average 10 hours per day, 5/6 days per week.
Our work is based on the festival sites, so personal camping gear or a live-in vehicle is needed.

Motivated, organised, and able to work well within a team
Excellent at communication and able to liaise consistently with key personnel
Able to be part of a fast moving, high energy team, supporting each other on every shift
Able to adapt to short notice changes to plans, schedules and priorities
Confident in using your initiative when needed
Capable to undertake any other duties as deemed necessary to assist in the day to day running of an event
Good at implementing a healthy work/life balance in a festival environment
Desire to grow position within the company and learn new skills
Due to the nature of the business you will need to be comfortable with the subject and material matter of toilets and their content in your working environment and duties. Safe practices, PPE and dignity are at the forefront of our system and processes for both workers and the general public.
Your day-to-day duties include:
Assembling, maintaining and disassembling flat pack compost toilets
Cleaning toilets and components for a sanitary pack down in accordance with our cleaning procedures and health and safety policy
Installing and maintaining plumbing and monitoring liquid levels during operation to ensure a good working system for the drainage from toilet units
Changing toilet receptacle when required, and assisting in the collection of solid material
Maintaining clean and tidy vehicles and workspaces
Assisting in packing equipment and materials for dispatch to events
You will report to your Team Leader and/or the Event Manager.
Skills and experience
Essential:
Full clean driving licence
Very desirable:
Previous experience in labouring/landscaping/events, or any other similar physical role
Previous build or site experience
Towing experience
Telehandler licence or additional vehicle licence

2027 and beyond: An ideal candidate would be interested in seasonal work (June-September) on an annual basis with the potential to take on more responsibilities in future years.
