Join our dynamic team as a Sign Installer, where you'll play a vital role in bringing visual communications to life! In this position, you'll be responsible for installing and maintaining various signage systems across diverse locations. Your mechanical aptitude and technical proficiency will ensure that each sign is securely mounted, properly wired, and aligned to meet safety standards and client specifications. Duties
Install new signs including electrical wiring, mounting hardware, and structural supports according to schematics and technical drawings
Conduct electrical diagnostics to troubleshoot issues with illuminated signs or electrical components
Perform maintenance, repairs, and adjustments on existing signage systems to ensure optimal performance
Interpret technical drawings and schematics to accurately assemble and install signage components
Operate heavy equipment such as lifts or cranes safely when installing signs at elevated or hard-to-reach locations
Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure installation meets specifications, safety standards, and deadlines
Qualifications
Proven experience with electrical diagnostics, mechanical knowledge, and heavy equipment mechanics
Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, schematics, and using tools like ohmmeters
Ability to work at heights using lifts or scaffolding safely and efficiently
Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail
Physical stamina to lift heavy signs and work in various weather conditions
Technical proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
