Job Description
Class 4 Shuttle Driver – Calgary, Edmonton & Fort McMurray
Banff Passenger Transport & Tours Ltd. is hiring reliable and professional Class 4 Shuttle Drivers in Calgary, Edmonton, and Fort McMurray for scheduled intercity passenger transportation.
This is a long-distance driving position. Drivers will generally begin and finish their assigned trips in their home city. Routes operate primarily between Calgary, Edmonton, and Fort McMurray.
Responsibilities
• Safely transport passengers between scheduled locations
• Provide friendly, professional and respectful customer service
• Assist passengers with loading and unloading luggage
• Perform required pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections
• Follow scheduled departure and arrival times
• Maintain a clean, safe and presentable vehicle
• Communicate professionally with passengers and company management
• Follow company safety procedures and applicable transportation regulations
Requirements
• Valid Alberta Class 4, Class 2 or Class 1 driver’s licence
• Acceptable driver’s abstract
• Confident and safe driving on long-distance Alberta highways
• Comfortable with extended driving shifts and variable start/finish times
• Able to regularly lift and handle passenger luggage
• Reliable, punctual and professional
• Available for early mornings, evenings, weekends and overnight assignments as scheduled
• Strong communication and customer-service skills
Preferred Experience
Previous professional passenger driving, commercial driving, shuttle, bus, taxi or similar experience is highly preferred.
Experience with Alberta highway and winter driving is considered a strong asset.
What We Provide
Company vehicles and fuel are provided for assigned trips.
Some Calgary–Fort McMurray and Fort McMurray–Calgary assignments require an overnight stay, with accommodation provided by the company.
We are looking for safe, dependable and professional drivers who understand the importance of passenger safety and excellent customer service. Drivers are expected to be patient, respectful and professional when dealing with passengers.
Hiring locations: Calgary, Edmonton & Fort McMurray
Applicants must currently hold a valid Alberta Class 4 licence or higher to be considered.
Pay: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
