We are looking for a skilled Shopify Expert to manage, optimize, and enhance our online store. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Shopify, eCommerce best practices, and a passion for delivering a seamless online shopping experience. You will be responsible for setting up and customizing our Shopify store, integrating essential apps, and helping us scale our online saree business.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATIONS RELATED TO E-MARKETPLACES LIKE AMAZON, FLIPKART ETC WOULD BE A GREAT ADD-ON.
Key Responsibilities:
Shopify Store Setup & Customization:
Design and customize the online store to reflect the traditional yet contemporary ethos.
Ensure the website is mobile-friendly, aesthetically pleasing, and easy to navigate.
Implement and customize Shopify themes, ensuring a cohesive and visually appealing storefront.
App Integration & Functionality:
Integrate essential Shopify apps for product management, payments, shipping, and customer engagement.
Ensure smooth integration with social media platforms and third-party marketing tools like Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest to maximize visibility and sales.
Product Management:
Manage product listings, ensuring high-quality product images and descriptions for sarees, including detailed specifications on fabric, design, and style.
Set up inventory tracking and categorize products efficiently to improve customer navigation.
Search Engine Optimization (SEO):
Optimize the store for search engines to improve organic traffic.
Implement SEO best practices for product pages, collections, and blogs.
Ensure correct usage of meta tags, image alt texts, and keyword optimization for better search rankings.
Conversion Rate Optimization (CRO):
Analyze customer behavior and purchase patterns to improve user experience and increase conversion rates.
Optimize product pages and the checkout process to reduce cart abandonment and boost sales.
Marketing and Promotions:
Create and manage promotions, discount codes, and seasonal sales for the saree collections.
Set up and monitor email marketing campaigns to engage customers and increase repeat purchases.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective strategies for launching new collections and products.
Analytics & Reporting:
Track and report on website performance, sales trends, and customer behavior using tools like Google Analytics and Shopify’s reporting dashboard.
Provide insights and recommendations to improve sales and customer retention.
Customer Support & Troubleshooting:
Offer technical support for resolving any store-related issues and maintaining the website’s uptime and performance.
Train internal teams on managing the store and handling day-to-day operations.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Shopify Expert or Shopify Developer, with a strong portfolio of eCommerce projects.
Strong proficiency in Shopify’s platform, Liquid templating language, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Knowledge of Shopify apps, payment gateways, and third-party integrations.
Experience with SEO, CRO, and digital marketing best practices.
Ability to deliver creative and high-quality solutions, specifically tailored for a niche market like traditional sarees.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Experience:
Prior experience working with a fashion or ethnic wear brand is a plus.
Experience in managing large product catalogs and optimizing for mobile shopping.
Understanding of cultural trends and aesthetics related to traditional Indian fashion.
