Role and Responsibilities:


Fabricate, layout, and install ductwork for various systems on new construction projects
Lead and mentor apprentices, ensuring they are learning industry best practices
Follow appropriate safety practices to access installations and when using ladders, other access ways, handrails, barriers, trench supports, scaffolding and mechanical lifts (if trained/licensed)
Follow established employment and safety policies and procedures
Read and interpret various types of drawings including architectural, mechanical, and structural drawings to ensure all systems are installed accurately
Follow written and verbal instructions in the workplace, on construction sites and trade school environments
Maintain an organized and clean workspace
Communicate and interact with others in an appropriate fashion in all environments
Perform other duties as required

Skills and Experience


You have the drive to lead in the new construction industry
You have a Red Seal Sheet Metal Ticket
You have the ability to perform repetitive work
You are comfortable with heights and working on ladders
You are able to lift up to 50lbs
Work on your feet for up to 8 hours
Ability to crouch, bend, and kneel throughout your shift
You have the ability to work with others and independently on tasks as assigned
