Job Description

Objective: Superior Cabinets is currently seeking a Service Lead Hand to join our team in Saskatoon. Reporting to the Production Lead Supervisor, this position is responsible for ensuring the service department’s work flows effectively through the plant. This is a full-time, permanent positions that runs from Monday to Thursday, from 5:00am until 3:30pm with some occasional evenings and weekends required.

Direct Reports: Service Team
Location: Manufacturing Plant (Saskatoon)

Main Responsibilities:
Hand out paperwork, provide specific work instructions to the team for priorities or rework.
Inspection of raw cut parts or outside vendor parts and moving them through the Spyder area into Finishing.
Final inspection and documenting of service white glove jobs.
Internal coordination and monitoring of service jobs for completion.
Daily departmental report submission.
Verify sizes and door styles are correct, the piece count and quality as well.
Stage cabinets after finishing and see them through assembly.
Assistance in wrapping might also be necessary.

You have:
1-2 years leadership experience within a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of cabinet techniques, materials, and quality control standards.
Excellent leadership, coaching, and team building skills.
Effective communication skills to work with multiple departments and personnel.
Strong organization and problem-solving skills.
Ability to take direction and execute tasks on time while ensuring quality of work.
Knowledge of Microsoft Office products and Insight is an asset.
Good knowledge of Superior Cabinets products and colours will be an asset.
Physical ability to lift up to 50lbs.
Education and/or Training:
Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent
Valid Saskatchewan driver’s license
Clean driver’s abstract
