Job Description
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet and engage guests warmly and enthusiastically.
Present and describe menu items professionally and clearly.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and ensure timely delivery
Anticipated guest needs and provide creative, personalized service.
Collaborate with the team for a smooth, high-energy service.
Follow hotel and union policies, including safety, hygiene, and service standards
Participate in concept-specific trainings and briefings.
The ability to recognize and address potentially intoxicated, disruptive or undesirable guests.
The ability to respond properly in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
The ability to perform other tasks or projects as assigned by hotel management and staff.
Additional Key Responsibilities
The ability to deliver food and beverage items from the kitchen to the guest’s table in a timely and efficient manner.
QUALIFICATIONS and REQUIREMENTS:
Previous find dining or high-profile guest service experience preferred.
1-2 years of food and beverage service experience.
Excellent knowledge of food, preparation, and wines.
Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to engage guests dynamically and interactively.
Excellent teamwork and collaboration.
Ability to remain composed under pressure.
Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the English language

2-3 plates of food at one time (10-15 lbs)
Repetitions :
Walking: continuous at high speed
Carrying 35 lbs tables approximately 100 feet several times a day
Carrying plates: very repetitive
Carrying 60 lb Punch bowl 2 x day
Push/pull food carts: very repetitive
Help houseperson/busperson move furniture and arrange buffet 2-3 x week
Sit down: 15 minutes per shift for briefing
Sensory :
Sight, speech, and hearing for communication with guests.
