Job Description
Job Title: Server Developer and Administrator
Work Experience: 4 to 7 years
Job Profile:
We are seeking a dedicated Server Developer or Administrator to join our growing company. You will be responsible for building and maintaining our server infrastructure, as well as coordinating with the teams responsible for other layers of the product infrastructure. You must have deep technical skills, along with the ability and willingness to learn new skills and technologies in a fast-paced environment.
Roles & Responsibilities :
Install, configure and maintain server hardware and software.
Monitor server performance and take proactive measures to improve performance.
Implement and maintain server security through firewalls, anti-virus software, and security updates.
Perform regular backups of important data to minimize the risk of data loss.
Troubleshoot server issues and provide technical support to users.
Manage storage and data management, including the creation of file systems and allocation of disk space.
Configure network settings and ensure the server is properly connected to the network.
Create and manage user accounts, set permissions, and ensure that users have access to necessary resources.
Install and update software and ensure compatibility with the server environment.
Maintain server documentation, including network diagrams, hardware configurations, and software licenses.
Qualifications for Server Administrator :
Should have hands-on experience in Linux- All variants including Ubuntu,
Unix, CentOS, Solaris server administration and management.
Should have good working knowledge on DevOps framework including
AWS.
Should have valid certification from RedHat on Server Administration.

Strong understanding of server hardware and software, including operating systems, virtualization, and storage technologies.
Proficiency in programming languages such as C,C++ and Python.
Extensive knowledge of writing server scripts.
Experience with designing, implementing, and maintaining complex server infrastructure.
Excellent troubleshooting skills and experience with server security, backup and disaster recovery.
Soft Skills :
Excellent verbal written communication skills.
Positive attitude with willingness to learn.
