Job Description
We are a fast-growing technology firm dedicated to delivering high-quality web solutions. We seek an experienced Senior Web Application Engineer to join our dynamic development team, specializing in the design and implementation of robust, scalable web applications using Laravel for the backend and Vue.js for the frontend.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain complex web applications, leveraging Laravel for the backend and Vue.js for the frontend.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers, product managers, and other engineers, to create high-performance web applications that meet the highest standards of quality and user experience.
Develop and implement RESTful APIs, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance of the application.
Write clean, well-structured, and well-documented code, adhering to industry best practices and coding standards.
Perform rigorous unit testing, integration testing, and debugging to ensure the highest level of quality and reliability in the application.
Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security, ensuring they meet the needs of our users and customers.
Work closely with databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL to design efficient schemas, perform queries, and handle migrations effectively.
Ensure the highest standards of security best practices in code and application deployment.
Stay up-to-date with emerging web technologies and tools, continually improving processes and product offerings.
Participate actively in code reviews, knowledge sharing, and mentoring junior engineers.
Required Skills and Experience
3+ years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, with strong proficiency in Laravel and Vue.js.
Hands-on experience with Laravel: routing, migrations, Eloquent ORM, Blade templating, and queues.
Strong knowledge of Vue.js: Components, Vuex, Vue Router, directives, and lifecycle hooks.
Experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs.
Proficiency with HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Experience with version control using Git and familiarity with Git workflows.
Knowledge of SQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
Familiarity with front-end build tools like Webpack, NPM, or Yarn.
Strong understanding of web security and performance optimization.
Familiarity with cloud services (e.g., AWS, DigitalOcean) and deployment pipelines (CI/CD).
Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
